Dear Mr. Macias,

We are writing to express our deep concern about the lack of recycling and environmental care. We need to promote recycling and the correct use of waste.

At the INEM High School, We have been able to observe that there are no campaigns, recycling, or awareness activities related to environmental care. In addition, students do not recycle or use the colored cans properly to throw away the garbage or they simply throw it anywhere. The garbage we can see at the beginning of the day is unpleasant and the big problem is we, the students are the main contaminants, and many of us are not aware or possibly do not care that the institution has only two people in the cleaning staff.

You have to know that the misuse of garbage causes pollution, toxic materials that can harm animals, floods, and many other things. Moreover, this situation shows a bad school face.

We would like to ask that the institution care more about the environment and do more activities to recycle or campaigns about caring for the environment. The recycling process could be simplified by leaving just two cans, one for the organic and the other one for the recycling waste.

In conclusion, we must be more aware of the care of our school, correctly deposit waste and recycling, and simplify the process is an option; so that, our institution becomes in a pleasant and healthy space.

Yours sincerely,

Dear Mr. Macias,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you with the intention of expressing my concern regarding an issue that has been affecting our school community in recent times: vandalism on the walls of our school.

It is regrettable to witness certain individuals who have chosen to damage the facilities that provide us with a safe and welcoming learning environment. Grafffiti and marking on the walls not only affect the appearance of our school but also create a negative and disrespectful atmosphere for all students, teachers and the staff.

In conclusion we think about possible measures to address this problem:

  1. Increase surveillance. It could be considered to increase surveillance in areas prone to vandalism, specially during non-school areas.
  2. Community collaboration: involving parents, guardians students on community service and community members in the prevention and reporting of vandalism could be beneficial.
  3. You, as the principal, are the main responsible of the school building presentation, so it could be possible to change the face of the school building with the mayoralty help, of course, because they are the ones who could give the school some money and paint the walls and rooms, then it is from our side, students and community to be caring our buildings.

Thank you for your attention and for being the main protector of our school.

Yours sincerely,

Miguel Ángel González
