Este a\u00f1o nuestra instituci\u00f3n educativa INEM \u201cFrancisco Jos\u00e9 de Caldas\u201d de Popay\u00e1n celebra 50 a\u00f1os de labor educativa; es por este motivo que el departamento de Espa\u00f1ol, con el apoyo del equipo de Punto Vive Digital, ha decidido retomar el peri\u00f3dico escolar que fue liderado por m\u00e1s de treinta y cinco a\u00f1os por el Mag. Donaldo Mendoza.<\/p>

El peri\u00f3dico escolar es una herramienta que brinda a los estudiantes y docentes un espacio para expresar, informar y manifestar sus ideas a trav\u00e9s de la escritura; promueve y fortalece el trabajo cooperativo, el desarrollo de la creatividad y las habilidades comunicativas; adem\u00e1s, es memoria escrita del colegio. Esa es la raz\u00f3n por la que buscamos mantener su vigencia a trav\u00e9s del tiempo.<\/p>

Para esta nueva etapa hemos decidido entrar en la \u201cera digital\u201d, la cual, a trav\u00e9s de los diferentes medios escritos (peri\u00f3dicos, revistas, etc.), ha experimentado grandes transformaciones, incluyendo como valor sem\u00e1ntico agregado las im\u00e1genes y el color, concebidos no s\u00f3lo para ser le\u00eddos sino tambi\u00e9n vistos.<\/p>

Las ediciones digitales son hoy por hoy herramientas de comunicaci\u00f3n poderosas, en raz\u00f3n de que llegan masivamente a diversos sitios y personas, dentro y fuera del entorno escolar; adem\u00e1s, hacen posible la transversalidad entre las diferentes \u00e1reas acad\u00e9micas, apoy\u00e1ndose en el uso de las TIC.<\/p>
